Basic DSLR Photography
Not always for the beginner
Ah the camera, the main focus with everyone’s concept in photography. So we think! What is the camera, a device, a computer, or is it a status symbol? The camera is the beginning, the tool you use to capture your vision. The lenses, the filter, the flash, the memory cards and the process afterwards, add these all together and some might think, "this might be just a bit too complicated for me". Auto mode takes care of a lot of that, but then you allow your camera to be the photographer.
My aim is to teach you to be the photographer. I take you out of auto, and put you in control of that device that you attach a lens to. It's actually a very simple process, and my method of instruction will give you all the confidence you need to take charge of your images, to capture things the way you see them.
I teach at your pace, you might need one lesson, and you’re on your way, or you may need 2, 3, 4, or several more to learn the concepts. But I will teach to fit your needs. I teach classes at a local Las Vegas Camera store twice a month, and I teach an average of three private tutorials a week at your convenience.
You will learn: Aperture, Shutter Speed, Focusing, White Balance, Shooting Modes, Flash Photography, Tripod Uses, Basic Post Processing, and Proper Lens Selection
